The SWIFT KF4A is an all-in-one single-fiber fusion splicer that integrates five functions - stripping, cleaning, cleaving, splicing and sleeve protection - into a single compact unit. Active clad-to-clad alignment produces typical single-mode splice losses of 0.02 dB in about 7 seconds, and thermal stripping avoids fiber scratches. Its rugged, dust-, water- and shock-proof design and one-piece workflow make it well suited to pole-top and confined-space installations.
