The SHINHO S-16 is a handheld FTTx fusion splicer that uses four-motor, core-to-core alignment to join single-mode and multimode fibers with low, repeatable loss. It completes a typical splice in about 6 seconds and heats a protection sleeve in 18 seconds, while an industrial quad-core CPU and dual high-sensitivity cameras keep the workflow fast and stable. A rugged, anti-shock, dust-proof and water-proof body makes it suitable for medium-backbone and FTTx field work.
