The PH1900 EXP is MUST's larger off-grid inverter/charger — a pure sine wave inverter, MPPT solar charge controller and mains battery charger in one wall unit, sized for whole homes, shops and small offices rather than a few circuits.

Five versions are stocked: 4 kW (PH19-4024 EXP, 24 V) and 6 kW (PH19-6048 EXP, 48 V), then 8 kW, 10 kW and 12 kW (PH19-8048 / 10048 / 12048 EXP, all 48 V).

Two ranges under one name

The 4 kW and 6 kW units track a 90–430 V MPPT window through a single controller. From 8 kW upward the design changes: those units carry two independent MPPT controllers and widen the window to 90–450 V. That matters on a real roof — two arrays facing different directions, or one partly shaded through the afternoon, can each be tracked at their own optimum instead of dragging a shared string down to the weaker one.

All versions accept up to 500 V of open-circuit panel voltage, which allows longer strings and so thinner, cheaper DC cable runs from roof to inverter.

Running without a battery

Like the rest of the range the EXP will operate with no battery connected, powering loads directly from panels and mains. A site can be commissioned as a daytime solar system and gain storage later, and a failed battery bank does not take the whole installation offline.

The dual output shifts heavy loads to a second circuit that the inverter sheds by itself when solar and battery can no longer carry it, protecting the essential circuits during a long outage.
