The BlueStorm hybrid fiber cable is a non-armored composite cable that carries 6 to 12 optical fibers together with two insulated copper power conductors, so a single run delivers both optical communication and electrical power. The fibers sit in jelly-filled, water-blocked loose tubes stranded around a non-metallic FRP central member, with aramid-yarn strength and a UV-stabilised jacket suited to both indoor and outdoor use. It is commonly used to feed remote radio units (RRU) and other equipment that needs data and power together.
